Work method

We have a professional, customer oriented and flexible style of working. Therefore, a large part of the translation work is performed in-house by professional translators. All our translators and project managers are linguists. We also use our global network of affiliated partner translation agencies and professional freelance translators.

Request for a quote

We frequently provide a quote on the same day after receipt of a request for a free quote. In the above mentioned link you can see what information we need in order to provide a free quote.

Translation

We pay attention to terminology, grammar, context of words and expressions, style, locale, layout and target group/objective of the translation, according to the European standard, NEN-EN-15038.

Order

We immediately send a confirmation of the order to the customer when an order is assigned to us. We start work immediately.

Proofreading

At our customer's request we also take care of proofreading or review of translations that were not delivered by us. That is included in the service and price of our own translation work.

Selection of translator

The most suitable translator is selected after confirmation of the order. We then give preference to the translator who has previously translated for this customer and who is familiar with the specific terminology and style.

Delivery

We always thoroughly review the document before delivery. Additional DTP services may be needed for documents with a complex layout. Helena supplies these services upon request.

Preparation

The files which are often supplied in PDF format are converted into an editable electronic file. Subsequently, possible reference material, terminology and translation memories that are available are processed in the analysis.

Service

After delivery we will still process your comments for improvement, if that should be the case.

Confidential

We maintain the confidentiality of each order. Our employees have signed a confidentiality agreement and our work procedures are designed to maintain confidentiality. Upon request we will be happy to sign a confidentiality agreement drawn up by our customer.
